Obverse : Kandy and 1887 curved around center. Branches with leaves and fruit on either side intersecting at bottom, within plain circle inside raised rim.
Reverse : MahaNuwara(Kandy in Sinhala) and 1887 curved around center. Branches with leaves of Rice on left and coconut flower on right intersecting at bottom, within plain circle inside raised rim.
The Kandy 1887 in both silver(illustrated) and bronze(same dies) was in the Dick Ford collection lot#316 of Taisei-Baldwin-Gillio Auction Catalogue #19 Listed along with similer Kandy 1885 in bronze.
