Obverse: Crowned shield with general Coat of Arms: Rampant lion left with 7 arrows (united provinces) in left paw and a sword (the deffender) in right. Shield divides 1 GL.. Along periphery Latin legend: MO.ARG.ORD.FŒD.BELG.GEL.&.CZ. which expands to Moneta Argentea Ordinum Fœderatio Belgica Gelderlandiae. Translation: "Silver coin of the United provinces of Belgium Gelderland".
Reverse: Standing Neerlandia holding a spear with Liberty hat on top, leaning on a closed Bible on a column. Mint mark tree trunk to right of head. Year of issue 1763 below. Along periphery Latin legend: HAC NITIMVR on right HANC TVEMVR on left. Translation: "On her we sustain, we will protect her"
