Obverse : Crowned rampant Lion left holding sword and arrows in two front paws, divides two stuiver value 2 S
Reverse : Mint Mark Knight on Horse (Rider) with rosette on either, above GEL/RIA with date 1710 below.

Mint Mark: Cross (1614-1619); lily(1646); Dog(1678-1680) Knight on Horse (1704-1712); Horse on Mountain (1734)

Codrington X§26 Double stuivers(ii) Lion of the United Provinces lists coins from Gelderland, Holland, West Friesland, Zeeland, Utrecht, Friesland, Overijssel, Deventer, Kampen and Zwolle are found in Lanka.

This 2 Stuiver is 11% under-weight which may be accounted for by ware during circulation and the probable light shaving of the edge often seen in coins of this Era.

The coin was cleaned lightly with with 15% Solution of citric Acid to expose detail.

Coins were scanned at 600 dpi and displayed at 300 dpi.
