Obverse :Coconut plantation divided by a stream with in background, a range of mountains
including Siripada to left with the sunrising behind it, all inside raised rim.
Reverse :Ceramonial coconut oil lamp at center with CEYLON COCONUT EXHIBITION
curved along top periphary, and 1934 below inside raised rim.

From the larger apparent diameter of Sun relative to Siripada as seen from Colombo which is 64 km distant
this scene must be from about 20 kms or about a third of that distance.
The medal was scanned at 600 dpi and the images are displayed at 200 dpi. It was purchased from a dealer in Colombo in 2011 October.
