Obverse : Symbolic Cresent Moon and Sun surrounded by plain and dotted circle.
Reverse : Branches with leaves on either side intersecting at bottom.

For more details see the older and very similer Copper 1891 Kegalle Medal which is very similer except for the engraved text in Sinhala along the edge of the Medal. This silver medal has a Plain rim.
The medal was scanned at 300 dpi and the images are displayed at 175 dpi. It was purchased from an antique shop in Kandy in 2008 May.
