Obverse : Bust of William IV to right with WILLIAM on left and IIII, KING. to right along periphery.
Reverse : ONE RUPEE in two lines in center, and in arabic below. Laural wreaths on either side. EAST INDIA COMPANY above and * 1835. * below along periphery.

This replica was made for a center piece display at the entrance to the CBSL Economic History Museum. They were piled loosely on one side of a large balance scale, with measuring weights put on the other. Few days later to stop apparent evaporation they were glued on to and covering a paper cone.

The replica does not have any identification mark on it to indicate it is a replica. It should not fool anyone knowledgeable on Coins of that era since it is not made in Sterling Silver of the original coin.

The replica coin was scanned at 600 dpi and displayed at 300 dpi.
