Obverse : |/| (Negapatnam) above the VOC monogram within beaded circle.
Reverse : Thamil legend NAKa /PaDDa / NaM in three lines enclosed in a dotted circle or ellipse.

The oc on the upper coin is smaller than the OC on the lower specimen.

The coin was scanned at 600 dpi and displayed at 450 dpi. It was obtained in 2002 March from a dealer in US who kindly allowed me to select varieties from part of a hoard of coins from South India.
