A token stamped incuse and manufactured locally in Ceylon. for issuer Maclachlan Mackenzie & Co, Colombo.
The Eight spoked Wheel is the Buddhist Dharmachakra, representing the Noble Eightfold Path.

Reverse :	Buddhist Dharmachakra - A Eight spoked wheel (stamped incuse).

A roughly struck thin token of about the size of a bronze penny.
Said to have been issued by the firm MacLachlan, Mackenzie & Co., of Colombo, which became insolvent in 1870.
