A Token issued by the Globe Club in Colombo. With an unique integer stamped incuse and a central hole it was probably used as some control check rather than as a token of Currency

along periphary within a beaded circle inside raised rim. An Serial Number struck incuse below a central hole.
Reverse : blank within a beaded circle inside raised rim.

In 1960 Pridmore notes that the numbers found range between 5780 and 14157.

I have not yet traced any details on the Globe Club that issued this token, but since 2000 there is new Globe Club from globe.gov in Sri Lanka.
