Notes on Editing
- Convert to units currently used in Numismatics.
Grains into grams. 1 grain = 0.06479891 grams (15.4323584 grains = 1 gram) (0.01 g precision)
Inches into mm. 1 Inch = 25.4 mm (0.1 mm precision)
- Put each subsection in it's own webpage for proper indexing.
- Remove obselete dates such as with 60 year error and use only BC and AD
(now given as G.) and where needed AH
- Translate words and spelling to current usage. For example
Ceylon to Lanka, other than in references.
Eldling to Punch Mark.
- Footnotes and superscript reference have been linked using anchors.
- Italics and Bold font used as in printed text
- Hyperlink internal and external references.
- Replace images scaned from CCC plates with actual coin scans.
- Diacritical Marks in Printed Text have not yet been edited in.
Should be done, but lot of work.
- Need to provide for addition of user comments and observations.
