A Cu-Ni Gaming Token issued by The Palm Beach Club Casino, Colombo, Sri Lanka. This Rs 20 denominations token is dated 1982, few years after 1977 when Casinos were legalised in Sri Lanka, and before introduction of their regular Chips. This Token is slightly smaller than the regular chip (39 mm).

Obverse : PALM BEACH CLUB in semi-circle above image of three coconut palms on beach with CASINO COLOMBO SRI LANKA in 3 lines below at center. 20 RUPEE GAMING TOKEN FOR USE BY PLAYER ONLY AT THE PALM BEACH CLUB COLOMBO SRI LANKA clockwise above and 1982 below on a raised 4 mm wide rim along periphary.
Reverse : Image of three coconut palms on beach wihtin outline of Sri Lanka Map at center. TWENTY on left and RUPEES on right as arcs with leaf designs on either side of 20 below. 20 RUPEE GAMING TOKEN ACCEPTABLE ONLY AT THE PALM BEACH CLUB COLOMBO SRI LANKA clockwise above a small symbol below on a raised 4 mm wide rim along periphary.
